New Self-Checkout Stations

The Wait is over

We’re excited to announce a new way to check out all your library materials! New self-checkout stations are now up and running at two convenient locations in the library:

  • The Front Desk
  • The Youth Services Floor

How it works:

  1. Scan your library card (or enter your library card number).
  2. Enter your PIN number.
  3. Scan each item you’d like to check out.
  4. Collect your receipt with due dates, or opt for a digital receipt.
  5. You’re all set! Enjoy!

A few notes:

  • The self-checkout stations are touch screens; tap anywhere on the screen to get started.
  • Entering your PIN number is a new step! If you don’t know it, no worries. Stop by the Front Desk or ask any staff at the Youth Services Desk to reset your PIN.
  • Video games are still locked and must be unlocked to scan the barcode, and we can help you with that.
