All equipment and kits are free to use for anyone with a valid library card in our system. Reservations are encouraged to ensure equipment availability; you will need to complete an initial one-on-one certification appointment for the embroidery machines, laser cutter, or Silhouette Cameo prior to your independent use.
Bring your own materials from our approved materials list or purchase from our limited selection at the library during your appointment. Library staff must approve any outside materials used on equipment and reserve the right to disapprove certain materials, tools, or usage of equipment.
Brother Embroidery Machines
We have two embroidery machines in The Hub! The Brother PE-780D can accommodate designs up to 5” x 7” and it features up to 188 built-in embroidery patterns, including several Disney designs. The Brother NQ-1700E can accommodate larger designs up to 7” x 11” and it includes even more built-in patterns and fonts, as well as an easy-to-read color display. Both machines are perfect for customizing and creating apparel, home decor, and gifts!
Please bring your own embroidery thread and stabilizer from our approved materials list or purchase from our limited selection at the library during your reservation. Use the built-in patterns and fonts to create your design, or bring in embroidery machine patterns in a .pes file format!

Cricut Easy Press 2
The Cricut Easy Press 2 heat press machine gives you precise and professional iron-on results for your heat transfer vinyl designs. With a 12” x 10” ceramic-coated plate, adjustable temperature up to 400 ºF, and a timer, it’s the perfect complement to our Silhouette Cameo cutting machine.
Cricut Easy Press Mini
The Cricut EasyPress Mini heat press machine gives you precise, even, and professional iron-on results for your heat transfer vinyl and infusible ink designs. Its compact size is perfect for small or uniquely-shaped projects with hard-to-reach spaces.
Cricut Hat Press
The Cricut Hat Press is a heat press machine designed for hats that gives you precise, even, and professional iron-on results for your heat transfer vinyl and infusible ink designs. Its curved heat plate and included hat pressing form creates a firm shape and surface for almost any hat.
Epilog Mini Laser Cutter and Engraver
Our Epilog Mini Laser is able to cut and engrave custom designs with images, shapes, and/or text with high precision and detail on a variety of materials, including wood, acrylic, leather, canvas, cardboard, and glass. The laser has a bed size of 12” x 24” with a depth of 5.5” for flat objects/materials and it includes a rotary tool that allows you to engrave cylindrical objects, such as drinking glasses, insulated water bottles, vases, rolling pins, and more.

Janome Sewing Machines
Our Janome 2030 QDC sewing machines are computerized and have 30 built-in stitches, making them easy to learn and operate for your basic and advanced sewing projects. Each of our six machines include three different buttonholes, LCD screen, auto-threader, a start/stop button to sew without a foot pedal, a speed regulator, extension table, additional presser feet, and quilting accessories.
Bobbins, universal needles, fabric scissors, pins, and seam rippers are also available for your use. Please bring your own fabric and thread to use during your reservation.
Rainbow Loom Kit
Make colorful friendship bracelets, keychains, and more using our Rainbow Loom and supplies.
Silhouette Cameo Cutting Machine
The Silhouette Cameo 4 is an electronic cutting machine with the ability to cut vinyl stickers and decals, heat transfer designs, cardstock, chipboard, stencils, fabric, and more. Use our Silhouette Studio Business edition software to import fonts and images, or create designs from scratch! The Cameo accommodates material widths of up to 12” on cutting mats or a roll, and also accommodates specialty tools, including a rotary blade and sketch pens.
A 12” x 12” and 12” x 24” cutting mat, blades, sketch pens, and other tools including a weeding hook, spatula, scraper, and ruler are available for your use.
