Now Is A Great Time To Get A Resident GAPL Card
Every day is a great day to get a first-time library card! A GAPL card gives you FREE access to books, extensive digital reading and entertainment options, free meeting space, and the use of maker technology in The Hub. You can also borrow things like a telescope, GoPro, Chromebook, sewing machine, and more!
However, in the month of September, you may also win an awesome prize.
Anyone eligible who applies (either in person or online) and is issued a first-time resident Grayslake Area Public Library Card during the month of September will be entered into a grand prize drawing!*
Please note if you apply online and are issued a temporary card, you must come into the library, complete your registration, and pick up your physical card by September 30 to be eligible for the prize drawing. This will also be a good time to see what the Grayslake Library offers you in person!
Remember, you can apply for a first-time card for everyone in your household - there is no minimum age!
Prizes:
One Youth (Ages 0-12)
Will get to choose from one of these prizes:
- 110 PC Megagontiles set
- Dragons Love Tacos & the sequel hardcovers, plus a dragon Squishmallow
One Teen (Ages 13-19) AND One Adult (Ages 20+)
Each will get to choose from one of these prizes:
- Pickleball set for 4 people
- KODAK Step Slim Instant Mobile Color Photo Printer with Photo Paper
- LEGO Icons Bundle with the Bonsai Tree & Wildflower Bouquet Sets
Winners will be chosen and contacted by October 7.
*Only people who live in the Grayslake Area Public Library District are eligible for GAPL cards.
