What is your favorite book/author and why?
Almost any book by David McCullough. His treatment of historical events and people make for some wonderful stories. And for someone who loves history, they are a treat.
How long have you been a member of our community? What’s your favorite thing to do in Grayslake?
I've lived in Grayslake since 1968, when the population was just over 5,000. Since that time, the Village has grown to over 28,000 people. A favorite occupation of mine is watching how Grayslake grows and yet still manages to foster a friendly, small town atmosphere to all who live here. You especially notice it while participating in the many events the town sponsors.
What’s your educational background?
Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/History from Brescia University in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Who is in your family?
I have an adult son, Michael, daughter-in-law, Evelyn and grandchildren Nate and Lily. I also have an adult daughter, Victoria and a grandson, Sheridan.
I like watching Forged in Fire on the History Channel better than a cooking show.
