Multiple copies of books for your group discussions, available for pick up when your group members need them

Who can use this service:
Book clubs and reading groups with at least one member who is a Grayslake cardholder and who will be the contact for the request.

How it works:
Fill out the form and request your title, and we’ll gather copies from our collection or borrow them from other libraries. You will receive a confirmation email after your request has been processed, typically within 1-3 business days. If there is an issue with your request, you will be contacted.

Important timing information:
- Submit requests at least six weeks before your discussion date
- We cannot request titles less than one year old
- Other libraries typically don’t loan new or extremely popular books
- Earlier requests give us the best chance of securing your books

Why the restrictions? Partner libraries must prioritize serving their own communities. Newer titles are in high demand, so we can only request books that have been out for at least a year.
The contact person for your group must be a Grayslake Library cardholder.
