BiblioCore: A New Catalog Experience

What is Bibliocore?

BiblioCore is a reimagined catalog that simplifies and enhances how you explore books, films, music, audiobooks, and more. We think you’ll appreciate the clean, user-friendly interface and the thoughtful built-in accessibility features, such as keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, color contrast, and adjustable text size. 

A link to the new BiblioCore catalog is prominently displayed on the current CCS catalog. 

Why is it Better?

The BiblioCore catalog has:

  • Smarter browsing pathways to explore by genre, age group, and trending titles

  • Grouped results that simplify choosing the right format or edition

How Do I Use It?

Getting Started

  • The first time you log into the new BiblioCore catalog, use your library card number and your current PIN or password.
  • You’ll then be prompted to complete a one-time registration to create your account.

Creating Your Username

  • Choose an alphanumeric username (letters and numbers, can’t be the same as your library card number).
  • Already taken? No worries, BiblioCore will suggest an alternative for you.
  • Once set, use your new username + PIN/password to log in anytime.

Flexibility & Control

  • Prefer the old way? You can still log in with your library card number, totally up to you.
  • Change your username or password anytime under “My Settings.”

For Young Readers (Under 13)

  • To comply with children’s privacy laws (COPPA), kids under 13 get a fun, auto-generated username based on a color and an animal they pick.
  • Once they turn 13, they can update it to a username of their choice.
