David Nagler Performs
Carl Sandburg’s Chicago Poems

In Celebration of Illinois Bicentennial 1818-2018

Sunday, January 7; 3 – 4 pm

Carl Sandburg’s Chicago Poems, a new musical project from musician, singer, and composer David Nagler, sets a variety of Sandburg’s poetry to music in an assortment of styles. David will play and sing songs from the album, read additional poems, and celebrate this dynamic and relevant collection. Nagler has performed with over 125 different artists including Joan Baez, Aaron Neville, Rosanne Cash, Fred Armisen, Steve Earle, Moby, Andrew Bird, and Jeff Tweedy.
